From Murray Rankin's Desk: Justice for Thalidomide survivors

Representatives of the Thalidomide Victims Association of Canada joined us in the House of Commons today. In Question Period I asked the government about its delay in granting compensation, and was told it will be happening shortly. After years of waiting, there is a sense of urgency in getting justice: we will keep on this issue until it is resolved.

From earlier today, meeting with Mercedes Benegbi, Executive Director of the Thalidomide Victims Association of Canada, and Christine Moore, NDP Deputy Health Critic.
