Murray Rankin speaks out against bill c-51

On Wednesday February 25, 2015 Murray Rankin, NDP MP for Victoria, rose in the House of Commons in defense of human rights and freedom, and spoke out against the Conservative government's "terror" bill, Bill C-51.

Conservatives appear to be using national security as a wedge issue and using fear to divide us at the very time Canadians rightly demand non-partisan collaboration to keep up safe from very real threats and to protect the very rights and freedoms that define our precious democracy.
